CRITTER PRINTS

About: My giclee art prints are printed and packaged in archival materials to ensure their colors stay fresh and beautiful for over 50 years. They are carefully compared with the original painting for only the best quality.

Each print comes with a single (white) mat, a care sheet, is mounted on foamboard, and finally shrink-wrapped in archival cellophane. The artist's signature appears on the right side of the mat;
the artworks's title is to the left side of the mat. A white label on the back identifies the title of the artwork. The make of the mat & foamboard is Artcare Neilsen-Bainbridge.

Multiple sizes available. If you'd like to purchase a size not listed in our
order page, please email me, Marianne. I'll be happy to send you a quote.

What printer do you use to make your prints?
The Epson Stylus Photo 2200. It uses pigment-based dyes that are similar to those found in artist's paints. They're considered top of the line. I make all my prints in house to ensure the best quality possible.

How long will my art print last?
Studies have shown archival products to last at least 50 years. I've have tested cards resting in the sun for a straight month without fading, so the inks are pretty sturdy.

How do I frame my print?
Since the mats/foamboard are already cut to standard frame sizes, merely pick out a frame at a framing shop or art store and tuck it in. Make sure that the inside of the frame is deep enough to accomodate the thickness of the mat & foam (~"3/8 thick). Hangers and paper backing will be available at your local framing or art store. All prints should be placed behind glass. My 8"x10" prints fit in an 11"x14" frame; 11"x15" prints fit in a 16"x20" frame.

Would you frame my print for me?
At an additional cost (to cover for the price of the frame & hangers) I will frame your prints. Please be aware that anything under glass may break in transit, despite my best attempts at securing the frame. Please specify with your order if you would like a frame, and I will send you samples of which frames are available.

How should I care for my print?
An art care sheet will be provided with your purchase.

CRITTER CARDS

About: These cards are made by the same printer as our giclee prints, so they're top notch! Because of this, many of my buyers choose to frame their cards. All archival materials are used for only the best quality. The card is sprayed with matte varnish to create a waterproof seal. Cards can be purchased singularly, or in box sets.

The inside is blank. Each comes with one white envelope, and is wrapped in cellophane. The artist's business card is packaged inside the cellophane. The image is centered on the card, and has a 1/8" white border.

Is the inside of the card blank?
Yes.

Can I get text printed on the inside of the card? What are the charges for this service?
I cannot print text on the inside of the cards at this time, but am planning to in the future.

My cards are slightly shiny and/or feel rough, is this normal?
Yes. Each card is sprayed with matte varnish to water-proof them, and gives the finish a slightly rough texture. It does not affect the colors of the card in any way.

How should I care for my cards?
An art care sheet will be provided with your purchase.

CRITTER MAGNETS

About: My art magnets are made of lightweight sealed wood. A glossy varnish atop the image makes the colors great and snazzy! Each is 3"x 1/4"x 2", and comes with a 3/4" circular magnet on the back. The artist's signature is written on the back. These magnets are basically a cute little version of my wallplaques. Enjoy them on your fridge or magnetic whiteboard at work : )

Why are the edges of my magnet rounded?
Because all my products by handmade, there will be times when the magnets will have sharp edges. When I feel they're too sharp to handle, the corners are rounded. This doesn't affect the magnet in any way; in fact, some people prefer the rounded edges.
